Frequently asked questions

How much does custom ERP development cost in India?

Custom ERP is quoted per project because cost tracks module count, user count, and how much legacy data has to migrate. A three-module finance and inventory build is a different engagement from a twelve-module multi-plant rollout. Across the Indian market, custom ERP work commonly runs from a few lakh rupees upward as scope widens. We map your module list and integrations first, then quote a fixed price per phase so you are not signing a blank cheque.

How long does an ERP implementation take?

A focused build covering two or three core modules typically goes live in three to four months. Broader rollouts spanning finance, inventory, HR, procurement and multiple locations usually run six to twelve months, because the slow parts are rarely the code. Data cleanup, approval-workflow sign-off and user training take most of the calendar time. We phase releases so your first module is in daily use while later ones are still being built.

Can a custom ERP integrate with Tally or our existing systems?

Yes. Most Indian ERP projects have to coexist with Tally or Busy for statutory books, so we sync masters and vouchers through their APIs or scheduled imports instead of forcing a rip-and-replace. The same applies to your existing CRM, e-commerce store, payment gateway, bank statement files and barcode or weighbridge hardware. Integration surface is mapped early, since it often drives more of the timeline than the modules themselves.

Does the ERP handle GST, e-invoicing and e-way bills?

Yes. We build GST-compliant invoicing with HSN and SAC codes, CGST, SGST and IGST splits, place-of-supply logic, and e-invoice IRN plus e-way bill generation through an authorised GSP or IRP integration. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B exports come from the same ledger, so your CA is not rebuilding numbers by hand. TDS rates, e-way bill rules and multi-state branch registrations sit in configuration, not code, so statutory updates do not need a fresh release.

What support do we get after the ERP goes live?

Support is scoped into the contract, not sold as an afterthought. That means a defect-fix warranty window straight after go-live, then an ongoing arrangement covering bug fixes, statutory updates, onboarding for new staff and small enhancement requests. You receive the source code, database schema and deployment documentation, so you are never locked to one vendor to keep the system running. Hosting can sit on your cloud account or ours, whichever your IT team prefers.
