The system works with common fingerprint and face recognition terminals used in India, including ZKTeco and eSSL models, and with other devices that offer a documented SDK or network export. Punches are pulled automatically over the network, so nobody downloads data by USB at month end. Device models and firmware vary a lot, so during scoping we check the exact units you have installed and confirm how each one connects before committing to a timeline.

Field employees mark attendance from a mobile app, and the check-in is accepted only when the phone is inside an approved location such as a client site, branch or warehouse. You can add selfie verification for roles where proxy attendance is a concern, and log customer visits for sales teams. Location is captured at the moment of check-in and check-out, not tracked continuously through the day, which keeps the data collected proportionate to the purpose.

Yes. Shifts are defined once, including fixed, rotating, night and split patterns, and each punch is matched to the right shift even when it crosses midnight. Grace periods, late marks, early exits, half-day thresholds, weekly offs and holiday rates are rules rather than manual judgement. Overtime is calculated against your policy and can require manager approval before it reaches payroll, so unapproved hours do not turn into unplanned salary costs.

Biometric data is sensitive, so the system collects as little as possible and protects what it holds. Employees are told what is captured and why, and their consent is recorded. Where the device supports it, fingerprint and face templates stay on the terminal rather than being copied to a server, access to attendance data is limited by role, and records are deleted when someone leaves. This supports obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and your legal adviser should confirm the specifics.

Yes. Approved attendance, leave, overtime and loss-of-pay figures export to payroll each cycle, either into our payroll software or into the system you already use through a file format or API. The handoff happens after managers sign off, so payroll works from reconciled numbers rather than raw punches. If your payroll tool is one we have not connected before, we scope that interface during discovery and confirm it works with real data before go-live.
