UI/UX Design for Websites, Web Apps and Mobile Apps

ConvertriX designs user interfaces and experiences for websites, web applications and mobile apps used by Indian customers and teams. We research how real users behave, test flows with clickable Figma prototypes before development, and deliver a documented design system so screens stay consistent, accessible and easy to build across devices and languages.

Overview

About our ui/ux design service

Good UX design is mostly about removing doubt. Users should know where they are, what a button will do and what happens after they tap it. In India that job has extra layers. Your users may be first-time smartphone owners, older customers who prefer Hindi or Odia, field staff entering data in bright sunlight, or professionals switching between a laptop at work and a budget Android phone at home. A design that only works for a confident English-speaking user on a new iPhone leaves a large share of your audience behind.

We begin with research proportionate to the project: stakeholder interviews, a review of analytics and support complaints, a look at competitor flows, and short sessions with a few real users. That shapes user journeys and wireframes for the key tasks, such as signing up, finding a product, booking a slot or submitting a form. Clickable Figma prototypes are then tested with users before any code exists, because changing a screen in Figma takes minutes while changing it in production takes days.

Visual design follows the structure, not the other way round. We define typography that holds up in Latin and Indic scripts, colour contrast that meets WCAG guidelines, touch targets sized for thumbs, and states for loading, empty, error and offline conditions that many designs forget. Everything is captured in a design system of reusable components and tokens in Figma, with developer handoff notes, so engineers build exactly what was designed and new screens can be added later without the interface drifting.

What's included

Everything in scope, written down

  • UX research

Stakeholder interviews, analytics review, competitor analysis and short user sessions to understand real behaviour and pain points.

  • User journeys and information architecture

Maps of key tasks and navigation structure, so content and features sit where users expect to find them.

  • Wireframes

Low-fidelity layouts for the main screens, focused on hierarchy and flow before colour and style.

  • Clickable prototypes

Interactive Figma prototypes of core flows for stakeholder review and usability testing on real phones.

  • Usability testing

Moderated sessions with representative users, including low-end Android and regional language users where relevant.

  • Visual UI design

High-fidelity screens for mobile and desktop, with every state designed, from loading and empty to error and success.

  • Design system

Reusable components, colour and type tokens, spacing rules and usage notes documented in Figma.

  • Accessibility review

Checks for contrast, text sizing, focus order, labels and touch targets against WCAG guidelines.

Process

How the project runs

  1. 1

    Discover

We gather business goals, user types and constraints, review existing data, and agree which journeys matter most.

  2. 2

    Define

Research findings become user journeys, information architecture and a prioritised list of problems to solve.

  3. 3

    Prototype

Wireframes and clickable prototypes are built for the priority flows and reviewed with your team.

  4. 4

    Test and refine

Prototypes are tested with real users, issues are fixed, and flows are refined before visual design is finalised.

  5. 5

    Design system and handoff

Final screens and the component library are delivered with developer specs, and we stay available during build.

Pricing

How this is priced

UI/UX design is quoted per project because effort depends on product complexity and research depth. The main cost drivers are the number of unique screens and user flows, the number of user types, how much research and usability testing is needed, platforms covered such as web, Android and iOS, language versions, and whether a full design system is required. Design can be engaged on its own or alongside development. After a call we send a fixed-scope quote.

FAQ

UI/UX Design: common questions

What is the difference between UI design and UX design?

UX design decides how a product works, while UI design decides how it looks. UX covers research, user journeys, navigation and the steps needed to complete a task. UI covers layout, typography, colour, icons and interactive states on each screen. Both matter: a beautiful interface with a confusing flow still loses users, and a logical flow with a poor interface feels untrustworthy. We handle both together.

How much does UI/UX design cost in India?

UI/UX design cost depends on how many screens, flows and user types the product has, and how much research is involved. Redesigning a few key screens of an existing app needs far less effort than designing a new multi-role platform with usability testing, a full design system and versions for web and mobile. We scope the work first and then share a fixed-scope quote.

Do you test designs with real users before development?

Yes, testing clickable prototypes with real users is a core part of our process. We run short sessions with people who match your audience, often on the kinds of Android phones they actually use, and watch where they hesitate or make mistakes. Fixing those issues in Figma is far cheaper than changing finished code, and it reduces the risk of launching something users struggle with.

Can you design interfaces for Hindi or Odia speaking users?

Yes. Designing for Indian languages means more than translating labels. Hindi and Odia text often runs longer or taller than English, so we choose fonts with good Indic script support, allow space for longer labels, and test layouts in each language. We also consider icon clarity and simple wording for users less comfortable with English or with complex digital interfaces.
