Web Development
WordPress and CMS Development Your Team Can Run
ConvertriX builds WordPress and headless CMS websites for teams that publish often and need to edit content without a developer. We create custom themes and reusable content blocks, keep plugins to a minimum, support Hindi and Odia content, and harden security and hosting so the site stays fast and stable as it grows.
Overview
About our wordpress & cms development service
WordPress powers a large share of Indian business websites because it is familiar, flexible and easy to hand over. It also has a reputation for slow, plugin-heavy sites that break after updates or get hacked. Nearly all of those problems come from how a site is built, not from WordPress itself. A page builder theme stacked with thirty plugins will struggle on a budget Android phone. A lean custom theme with a handful of well-maintained plugins will not.
We build custom block-based themes where your editors assemble pages from approved sections such as hero banners, service grids, testimonials and FAQs. Each block is designed and tested once, so a marketing executive can create a new landing page that looks right on mobile without touching code or breaking the layout. Custom post types handle structured content like courses, properties, doctors, projects or job openings, with fields that make sense for your business instead of a generic text box.
Where WordPress is not the right fit, we use a headless CMS such as Sanity, Strapi or Payload with a Next.js frontend. This suits teams that publish the same content to a website, an app and other channels, or that need stricter performance and security. For multilingual sites we set up Hindi, Odia or other language versions with proper hreflang, translation workflows and Unicode fonts. Every build includes caching, image optimisation, security hardening, automated backups and a staging site for testing updates.

Pricing
How this is priced
WordPress and CMS projects are quoted per project because effort depends on content structure and editing needs. The main drivers are the number of page templates and custom blocks, content types and fields, multilingual versions, volume of content to migrate, and integrations with CRM, forms or ecommerce. A headless setup usually takes more frontend work than a traditional theme. Hosting and premium plugin licences are listed separately. After a call we send a fixed-scope quote.

WordPress & CMS Development: common questions
Is WordPress still a good choice for a business website?
Yes, WordPress is a strong choice when your team edits content often and wants a familiar admin. It becomes a problem only when built with heavy themes and too many plugins. With a lean custom theme, a few vetted plugins, caching and regular updates, a WordPress site can be fast, secure and easy to maintain. For multi-channel publishing, a headless CMS can suit better.
What is a headless CMS and do we need one?
A headless CMS stores content separately from the website design, delivering it through an API to a website, app or other channels. You probably need one if the same content appears in several places, if performance and security requirements are strict, or if developers want full control of the frontend. For a typical business site edited by a small team, traditional WordPress is usually simpler and cheaper.
Can our WordPress site support Hindi or Odia content?
Yes. WordPress handles Hindi, Odia and other Indian languages well when set up correctly. We use WPML or Polylang to manage language versions on separate URLs with hreflang tags, choose Unicode fonts that render properly on Android phones, and set up a workflow so translators can update content without affecting the English pages. Search engines can then index each language separately.
How do you keep a WordPress site secure?
We keep WordPress secure by reducing what can go wrong. That means few, well-maintained plugins, a custom theme without bundled extras, two-factor login, limited admin accounts, a firewall, file permission checks and automated off-site backups. Core and plugin updates are tested on staging before going live. Under a maintenance plan we monitor uptime and security alerts and respond if anything looks wrong.
