Cloud Hosting and DevOps Services for Indian Businesses

ConvertriX sets up and runs cloud infrastructure for websites, apps and business software. We deploy to AWS, usually in the Mumbai region, automate releases with CI/CD pipelines, configure backups and monitoring, and review cloud bills so you pay for what you use. Everything sits in your own account, documented, so you keep control of your systems.

Overview

About our cloud, hosting & devops service

Many business applications run on a single server that one developer set up years ago. Nobody is sure how it was configured, deployments happen over FTP late at night, backups exist but have never been restored, and the first sign of trouble is a customer calling to say the site is down. DevOps replaces that with repeatable infrastructure: servers defined in code, deployments that run from a pipeline with one click or one merge, and alerts that reach your team before customers notice a problem.

Cloud is not always the cheapest answer, and bigger is rarely better. A brochure website may run perfectly well on managed hosting for a fraction of the cost of a custom AWS setup, and we will recommend that when it fits. Cloud infrastructure makes sense for applications with real traffic, business data or uptime requirements. Even then, we size it to current load, use managed services where they save operational effort, and schedule regular cost reviews, since idle resources and oversized databases are the most common source of wasted spend.

For Indian businesses, the AWS Mumbai region keeps latency low for local users and keeps data in India, which helps when customers, auditors or sector rules ask where personal data is stored under the DPDP Act 2023. We also work with Azure, Google Cloud and Indian providers when a client already has commitments there. Every account we manage follows the same basics: multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, encrypted storage, separate staging and production environments, and an access list you can review at any time.

What's included

Everything in scope, written down

  • Infrastructure audit

A review of your current hosting, security settings, backups, costs and single points of failure, with a prioritised fix list.

  • Cloud architecture and setup

AWS environments designed for your application, using EC2, ECS, RDS, S3 and CloudFront or simpler managed hosting where suitable.

  • CI/CD pipelines

Automated build, test and deploy pipelines through GitHub Actions, with staging environments and one-step rollbacks.

  • Infrastructure as code

Environments defined in Terraform or AWS CDK, so they can be rebuilt, reviewed and changed without guesswork.

  • Backups and disaster recovery

Automated database and file backups with retention rules, plus scheduled restore tests so recovery is proven.

  • Monitoring and alerting

Uptime checks, error tracking, server metrics and log search, with alerts routed to email, Slack or WhatsApp.

  • Security hardening

MFA, IAM roles, SSL certificates, firewall rules, patching and secrets management across every environment.

  • Cost optimisation

Right-sizing, reserved capacity where it pays, cleanup of idle resources and monthly cost reports by environment.

Process

How the project runs

  1. 1

    Audit and requirements

We review current hosting and agree uptime needs, data residency, expected traffic and the budget you want to work within.

  2. 2

    Architecture proposal

A written design covering services, environments, backup policy and estimated monthly running cost.

  3. 3

    Build and migrate

Infrastructure is built in code, the application is migrated to staging, and performance is tested before cutover.

  4. 4

    Cutover with rollback plan

DNS and traffic switch during a low-traffic window, with the old setup kept ready until the new one is stable.

  5. 5

    Ongoing operations

Monitoring, patching, backup checks and cost reviews continue on a monthly basis if you choose a managed arrangement.

Benefits

  • Fewer outages and faster recovery when something fails
  • Releases that are routine instead of risky late-night events

Pricing

How this is priced

DevOps work is priced in two parts: a one-time setup or migration project, and an optional monthly management arrangement. Setup cost depends on the number of applications and environments, migration complexity, compliance needs and how much existing infrastructure must be untangled. Monthly management depends on the number of systems, monitoring hours and response expectations. Cloud provider bills are paid directly by you. After an audit call, we send a fixed-scope quote.

FAQ

Cloud, Hosting & DevOps: common questions

Why host in the AWS Mumbai region?

The AWS Mumbai region gives lower latency for users across India and keeps data stored in the country. That helps page speed and app responsiveness, and it simplifies conversations with customers or auditors who ask where personal data lives under the DPDP Act 2023. The Hyderabad region is available as a second Indian location when you need disaster recovery in a separate region.

Do we need AWS, or is regular web hosting enough?

Regular managed hosting is enough for many brochure websites and small WordPress sites, and it costs less to run. AWS or another cloud platform becomes worthwhile when you have a custom application, business data, traffic spikes, integrations or uptime commitments. We recommend the simplest setup that meets your real requirements, and we can plan a move to cloud later when the need arrives.

Can you reduce our existing cloud bill?

Often, yes. The usual savings come from right-sizing oversized servers and databases, removing unused volumes, snapshots and load balancers, moving static assets behind a CDN, and buying reserved capacity or savings plans for steady workloads. We start with a cost review of your account, show where the money goes by service and environment, and agree changes before anything is modified.

Who has access to our cloud account?

You do. Infrastructure is built in an account you own, and we work through individual IAM users or roles with multi-factor authentication and only the permissions needed. Every person with access is listed in an access register you can review. If our engagement ends, you revoke our roles and nothing breaks, because the documentation, code and credentials already belong to you.
