PRODUCT
Factory Management Software
Plan, Produce and Track Output
Run production planning, work orders, inventory, quality and maintenance from one system, with GST-ready records that hand off cleanly to Tally.
Overview
What it does
Many small and mid-size factories still run production on whiteboards, registers and a spreadsheet that only one person understands. That works until orders grow, a machine breaks down mid-batch, or nobody can say how much raw material is really in the store. This software gives the shop floor and the office the same picture. Production plans are built from sales orders and stock levels, then broken into work orders using a bill of materials that defines every component and quantity. Raw material is issued against those work orders, so inventory falls as it is consumed and work in progress is visible stage by stage. Quality checks are recorded at incoming, in-process and final inspection, with rejections and rework tracked to the batch. Preventive maintenance schedules keep machines serviced before they fail, and downtime is logged with a reason. Daily output, scrap and downtime reports show where capacity is going, and purchase, sales and stock records stay GST-ready for handoff to Tally.
Features
Key capabilities
Production planning and BOM
Plans built from sales orders and stock levels, with multi-level bills of materials that calculate exactly what each batch needs before it starts.
Work orders and WIP tracking
Work orders move through defined production stages, so supervisors and the office can see what is in progress, what is waiting and what is finished.
Inventory and quality control
Raw material issued against work orders with reorder alerts, and incoming, in-process and final quality checks recorded with rejections traced to the batch.
Maintenance and output reports
Preventive maintenance schedules per machine, downtime logged with reasons, and daily output, scrap and utilisation reports for the people running the plant.
Benefits
What changes for your team
- Production plans grounded in real stock and orders
- Raw material consumption tracked against each job
- Work in progress visible without walking the floor
- Quality issues traced back to the batch
- Fewer breakdowns through scheduled maintenance
- GST-ready records that hand off to Tally
FAQ
Factory Management Software: common questions
What does factory management software actually cover?
It covers the core production cycle from order to dispatch. That includes production planning, bills of materials, work orders, raw material and finished goods inventory, work in progress by stage, quality inspection, preventive maintenance and downtime tracking, plus daily output and scrap reports. We do not force every module on every factory. During scoping we map how your plant actually runs and build around the steps that cause the most delays or errors today, adding the rest only if it earns its place.
Does it integrate with Tally and handle GST?
Yes. Purchases, sales, stock movements and job work records carry the GST details your accountant needs, including HSN codes and tax splits, and vouchers export in a format Tally can import. That means stock and sales are not keyed in twice, and the books match what the factory actually produced and shipped. Accounting stays in Tally, which most Indian manufacturers and their accountants prefer, while production, inventory and quality data live in the factory system.
Can it handle multi-level BOMs and job work?
Yes. Bills of materials can include sub-assemblies, alternate materials and expected scrap or yield, so the system calculates what a batch truly consumes rather than a theoretical figure. Job work sent to outside processors is tracked with challans, quantities out and back, and material held at the vendor, which keeps stock accurate and supports GST records for goods sent on job work. If your process uses recipes or formulations rather than discrete parts, we model that during scoping.
Will our shop floor staff be able to use it?
That is a design requirement, not an afterthought. Floor entry is kept to a few large buttons on a tablet, phone or shared terminal, with barcode or QR scanning wherever it saves typing, and screens can run in the language your supervisors use. Detailed reports sit with the office and management. We train supervisors on the real workflow before go-live and run alongside your existing registers for a period, so nobody is forced onto a system they do not trust yet.
How long does implementation take and how is it priced?
Timelines depend on the number of products, BOM depth, plants and which modules you start with, so we confirm them after scoping rather than quote a generic figure. Most of the effort goes into setting up item masters, BOMs and opening stock accurately, then a parallel run against your current method. Pricing is a fixed quote for the agreed scope, with any hosting or support costs listed separately so recurring charges are clear from the start.
