API and Third-party Integration Services

ConvertriX connects the software your business already runs on, so orders, payments, stock and customer records move between systems without anyone re-typing them. We integrate Tally, Zoho, Razorpay, Shiprocket, WhatsApp, marketplaces and your own CRM or ERP, with logging, retries and alerts so a failed sync is caught before it becomes a reconciliation problem.

Overview

About our api & third-party integration service

Most businesses do not need another application. They need the five they already have to talk to each other. Orders arrive on a website or marketplace, payments settle in Razorpay, shipments are booked on Shiprocket or Delhivery, invoices are raised in Tally or Zoho Books, and someone copies data between all of them every day. Integration removes that copying. Each event, such as a paid order, triggers the next step automatically, and every system ends up with the same record.

Not every integration needs custom code. If Zapier, Make or a vendor's native connector handles your flow reliably at a sensible monthly cost, we will set that up and say so. Custom integration is worth it when volumes are high, when the logic involves conditions and transformations that no-code tools handle poorly, when one of the systems has no public API, or when per-task pricing on automation platforms starts to exceed the cost of a small dedicated service.

Indian systems come with their own quirks. Tally has no modern REST API, so we work through its XML interface over HTTP, ODBC or structured file imports, depending on version and hosting. GST portals and e-invoice systems are reached through authorised GSPs. Bank integrations often mean SFTP statement files rather than APIs. We design every integration with idempotency, so a retried request never creates a duplicate invoice, and with a log you can check when someone asks why a record did not appear.

What's included

Everything in scope, written down

  • Integration audit and data map

A map of your systems, the data each one owns, where it is duplicated and which flows cause the most manual work.

  • Accounting integrations

Tally via XML or ODBC, Zoho Books and similar tools, syncing ledgers, vouchers, invoices and stock masters.

  • Payments and payouts

Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU or Stripe integration for collections, refunds, settlements and reconciliation reports.

  • Logistics and marketplaces

Shiprocket, Delhivery and courier APIs for booking and tracking, plus order and inventory sync with marketplaces.

  • Messaging and CRM

WhatsApp Business API, SMS and email providers, and two-way sync with Zoho CRM, HubSpot or your custom CRM.

  • Custom APIs for your software

Documented REST APIs and webhooks for your own systems, so partners and future tools can connect cleanly.

  • Monitoring, retries and alerts

Queued processing, automatic retries, a searchable sync log and alerts on email or WhatsApp when a flow fails.

Process

How the project runs

  1. 1

    Systems and flow mapping

We list each system, its API or export options, and the exact records and triggers that should move between them.

  2. 2

    Approach per flow

For each flow we choose a native connector, a no-code tool or custom code, based on volume, logic and running cost.

  3. 3

    Build in a sandbox

Integrations are built against sandbox or test accounts with sample data, including failure and duplicate scenarios.

  4. 4

    Parallel run

The integration runs alongside the manual process for a period, and outputs are reconciled before manual work stops.

  5. 5

    Go-live and monitoring

Flows are switched on in production with alerting, and we hand over the runbook for handling exceptions.

Benefits

  • Data entered once and reflected across every connected system
  • Fewer errors from manual copying between tools
  • Faster order-to-invoice and payment-to-ledger cycles
  • Failed syncs flagged immediately rather than found at month-end
  • Freedom to add or replace tools without breaking the rest

Deliverables

  • Integration map and data flow documentation
  • Deployed integration services or configured workflows
  • Field mapping sheets agreed with your team and CA
  • Sync log and monitoring dashboard
  • API documentation for any custom endpoints
  • Exception-handling runbook and source code

Pricing

How this is priced

Integration work is quoted per flow or per project. Cost depends on how many systems are involved, whether each has a usable API or needs file-based or ODBC access, the volume of records, the amount of transformation and business logic, and the level of monitoring required. Automation platform subscriptions and API usage fees are paid to those vendors and shown separately. After a call to map your systems, we send a fixed-scope quote.

FAQ

API & Third-party Integration: common questions

Can you integrate with Tally if it does not have a modern API?

Yes. Tally can be integrated through its XML interface over HTTP, through ODBC for reading data, or through structured imports for vouchers and masters. The right method depends on your Tally version, whether it runs on a local machine or a cloud server, and how often data must sync. We agree field and ledger mapping with your accountant so entries post correctly and match your books.

Should we use Zapier or Make instead of custom integration?

Use Zapier, Make or n8n when flows are simple, volumes are moderate and the systems are supported. They are quick to set up and easy to change. Custom integration is better when volumes push per-task pricing up, when logic is complex, when a system has no connector, or when you need strict control over retries and duplicates. Many clients run a mix of both.

What happens when an integration fails or an API goes down?

Failed requests go into a queue and are retried automatically with increasing delays, so short outages resolve on their own. Every sync is logged with its status, and persistent failures trigger an alert to the people you choose. Because integrations are idempotent, retries never create duplicate orders or invoices. A runbook explains how your team can review and reprocess any record that still needs attention.

Is our data secure when it moves between systems?

Yes, provided integrations are built carefully. All traffic uses HTTPS, API keys and tokens are kept in a secrets manager rather than in code, and each integration gets only the permissions it needs. Personal data is minimised in logs, in line with the DPDP Act 2023. Where data residency matters, integration services run in the AWS Mumbai region close to your other systems.
